BMW will set up two more distribution centres for parts supply in China in addition to one that is already operational in Beijing.

The second distribution centre will be set up in Shanghai to take charge of the supply in eastern China. It will build the third center in Guangzhou to take charge of South China and Southwest China.

The existing distribution centre at Beijing Tianzhu Airport industrial Zone in the nation’s capital, which will supply parts for its North China and Central China markets, will be enlarged from 8,000 square meters to 12,000 square meters in three years. The centre, where 12,400 types of part are stored, provides a series of services including receiving orders, warehousing and distribution.
