Ballard Power Systems of Vancouver has delivered Mark 900 series fuel cell power modules valued at $Can2.4 million ($US1.6 million), including support services, to Nissan Motor Company.
The modules incorporate Ballard’s latest generation Mark 900 fuel cell stack which utilises low-cost materials and is designed for manufacturing in automotive volumes.

‘Nissan continues to test and develop alternative propulsion technologies using Ballard’s fuel cells,” said Ballard chairman and CEO Firoz Rasul. ‘Nissan has been a customer of Ballard since 1991, and we are pleased to build on our long relationship.”
