Brussels-based Toyota Motor Europe (TME) has announced several organisational changes effective from 1 September 2012.
Takashi Karasawa, currently both chief financial officer and vice president of human resources and administration, has been named senior vice president of administration while remaining CFO.
Andy Pfeiffenberger, who currently heads Lexus Europe and strategic relationship management, corporate and business planning, will take over as vice president of human resources and administration at TME. Paul van der Burgh, director of Lexus Europe, will now head the brand in Europe, reporting directly to Karl Schlicht, executive vice president overseeing sales and marketing, product management and after sales for both Toyota and Lexus in Europe.
Mark Adams will take over the role of vice president of strategic relationship management, corporate and business planning at TME. He is currently vice president of TME purchasing.
Takayuki Shirata will become vice president of purchasing at TME, moving from his current role as lead coordinating executive of purchasing.
