Any moves by European governments to stimulate demand were welcome, Land Rover managing director Phil Popham said in Barcelona today.
“We’ve stabilised our business, taken out capacity and we have outsold our global forecasts for the last four months,” he said as he unveiled the updated 2010 Discovery and Range Rover models first shown at last month’s New York motor show.
“It’s been a rollercoaster ride but our business is strong,” he said, adding that Spain is one of Land Rover’s key European markets.
“The best way to get the market going again is to bring in new and improved products,” he said.
