Renault Nissan Automotive has built 2.5m cars at its factory in Chennai, India.

The company has maintained an annual average of 192,000 Renault and Nissan cars over 13 years with one unit off the line every three minutes.

The factory has produced 20 models since opening.

On 600 acres, the plant supplies both domestic and export markets.

Renault Nissan has exported 1.15m vehicles from Chennai’s Kamarajar Port to 108 destinations.
