Romania’s auto industry registered a 28.4% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 19.95% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 22.22% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 2.77% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Romania’s auto industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry in June 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 81.86% in June 2022, registering a 109.52% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 9.3% share, an increase of 17.65% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 4.19%, registering a 73.53% decline from May 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 3.26%, down 41.67% over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Romania’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 421.05% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Continental posted 133 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 786.67% over the previous month, followed by Faurecia with 19 jobs and a 35.71% growth. Robert Bosch with 18 IT jobs and Ningbo Joyson Electronic with 17 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while ZF Friedrichshafen recorded an increase of 22.22% with 11 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.07%, up by 15.45% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 34.88% share, registered an increase of 150% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.05% share, up 85.71% over May 2022.
