The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.56% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 22.89% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 1.87% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 58.93% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

Continental posted 31 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 138.46% over the previous month, followed by ZF Friedrichshafen with 21 jobs and a 40% growth. Porsche Automobil Holding with 17 IT jobs and Faurecia with 12 jobs, recorded an 112.5% growth and a 33.33% decrease, respectively, while Ningbo Joyson Electronic recorded an increase of 300% with 8 job postings during October 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.72%, up by 11.25% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.1% share, registered a decline of 4.55% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.17% share, up 100% over September 2022.
