Poland’s auto industry registered a 14.4% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.74% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 20.87% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.13% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s auto industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.18% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s auto industry in October 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 54.55% in October 2022, registering a 61.04% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 23.64% share, a decrease of 35% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.91%, registering a 14.29% decline from September 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 5.45%, down 40% over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 51.49% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s auto industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
AB Volvo posted 15 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 55.88% over the previous month, followed by Aptiv with 12 jobs and a 65.71% drop. ZF Friedrichshafen with 10 IT jobs and Inter Cars with 8 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a 27.27% decrease, respectively, while Schaeffler recorded an increase of 300% with 4 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.09%, down by 46.48% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.36% share, registered a decline of 75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.55% share, down 27.27% over September 2022.
