The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.23% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.08% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.33% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 35.42% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s auto industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

AutoZone posted 9 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 30.77% over the previous month, followed by Continental with 8 jobs and a 66.67% drop. Stellantis with 6 IT jobs and Faurecia with 4 jobs, recorded a 500% growth and a 60% decrease, respectively, while Aptiv recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.85%, down by 28.07% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with an 11.54% share, registered a decline of 64.71% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.62% share, down 16.67% over October 2022.
