The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.42% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 15.96% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.1% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Continental IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Continental, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64.49% in October 2022, and a 53.45% rise over September 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.67% in October 2022, and registered a decline of 23.33%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.42% in October 2022, an 85.71% rise from September 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Continental

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 54.35% share, which marked a 50% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 26.09%, registering a 44% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 18.84% share and a 3.7% drop over September 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.72% and a month-on-month flat growth.

Romania commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 22.46% share in October 2022, a 138.46% growth over September 2022. Germany featured next with an 18.12% share, up 66.67% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 17.39% share, an increase of 380% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Continental IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.46%, up by 38.89% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.29% share, a growth of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.25% share, down 37.5% over September 2022.
