Sweden-based company AB Volvo’s IT hiring declined 10.% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.82% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 15.16% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.21% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops AB Volvo IT hiring in October 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by AB Volvo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.82% in October 2022, and a 30.23% drop over September 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.59% in October 2022, and registered a decline of 19.23%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.71% in October 2022, a 66.67% rise from September 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at AB Volvo
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 56.86% share, which marked a 27.5% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 21.57%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 17.65% share and a 10% drop over September 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.92% and a month-on-month increase of 33.33%.
Sweden commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 30.39% share in October 2022, a 24.39% decline over September 2022. India featured next with an 18.63% share, down 13.64% over the previous month. US recorded a 17.65% share, a decline of 10% compared with September 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead AB Volvo IT hiring activity in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, up by 1.49% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.65% share, a decline of 18.18% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.69% share, down 55.56% over September 2022.
