
At this year’s CES 2025 Electra, a company specialising in AI-powered EV battery monitoring and optimisation solutions, unveiled its EVE-Ai technology in the Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast.
The EVE-Ai technology platform, powered by AI, aims to optimise vehicle battery life, safety and lifespan which in turn reduces range estimation errors by 20%, the company says. It is also claimed the technology also allows for battery life to be extended by 40%, along with downtime being minimised.
We spoke to Electra CEO, Fabrizio Martini, to lean more about EVE-Ai technology as well as its benefits.

Just Auto (JA): Could you provide some history on the company?
Fabrizio Martini (FM): Electra was founded in 2015. My journey began in Milan, where I studied Vehicle Dynamics at Politecnico di Milano. My career took off during a Master’s program in Energy Storage in Boston, where I worked on advanced battery systems for the US Department of Energy, NASA, and the Department of Defense.
While working on a NASA project to explore Venus, I realised the transformative potential of software in enhancing battery performance, safety, and lifespan. This insight led me to establish Electra Vehicles, blending software, data, and AI to revolutionise lithium battery efficiency and safety.
