Phyron, a specialist in AI-powered video technology, has started a partnership with Renault UK’s approved used car programme, Renew. Renault says the collaboration marks a significant step in Renew’s digital transformation, as Phyron’s AI-driven video software enhances the brand’s online retail experience.

Renault UK’s used car dealerships will now use Phyron’s AI software to automatically generate high-quality, engaging video content for their vehicle listings. By integrating Phyron’s technology, Renault UK aims to deliver an enhanced customer experience, increase engagement, and accelerate online vehicle sales.

Getting inventory online

Phyron AB – a specialist in video marketing AI tech – was established in Stockholm, Sweden in 2019. The company’s products include an AI assistant that is designed to work with a video app and have been launched in several industry segments including e-commerce, real estate and automotive.

How the Phyron platform works

Phyron says car retailers across Europe are moving stock at a more rapid rate thanks to Phyron, 100% powered by AI and automation. All of this with no input or effort needed by dealer staff, with the AI platform essentially becoming a retailer’s outsourced video marketing team.

Seven years in development, the Phyron platform can elevate a dealer’s car-buying funnel, from website to marketplace to social media, with automated videos and enhanced stills – for ‘less than the cost of a coffee per car’, the company claims. In the latest evolution, Phyron’s AI powered software can now buy and optimise ‘hyper-targeted video ad campaigns on Meta social media channels’, where it says customers are reporting a 35% increase in sales leads.

Phyron also points out that until now creating studio quality videos for every car on a dealership’s forecourt, uploading them to all the popular social media channels plus creating and optimising targeted advertising campaigns would have taken a huge team of people working flat out. However, Phyron says its fully automated AI powered software can do it all in minutes, with zero human input.

Phyron’s AI platform creates on average over four million ads per year. Phyron counts over 4,000 dealers and partners across 30-plus countries, and has also expanded into the North American market.
