Architecture and Engineering Occupations drive auto industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 11% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 48% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 8% and drop by 55% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 2% of the new job postings and 44% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in auto industry accounted for 46% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Pirelli & C with 86, followed by Robert Bosch with 61, while the highest increase was at Bridgestone at 24%.
