BMW Group’s Rolls-Royce factory at Goodwood in southern England is to expand following what the automaker described as “significant growth in worldwide sales over the last 18 months and a greater demand from customers for highly personalised models”.
The expansion includes 2500 sq m assembly hall expansion, completing the final phase of development from original site plans for the production area. A new extension will also increase the paint section by more than 640 sq m. Total spend will be about GBP10m.
