With October 2000 sales of 6,100, Audi of America, Inc. has surpassed total 1999 sales. Audi is marking its best year-to-date in the company’s history with sales of 66,376, up 24 percent. October sales are slightly down from October 1999 sales of 6,763 due to limited availability of vehicles across the model line.

October sales mark the launch of the new Audi allroad quattro, a crossover vehicle offering customers the best of both on- and off-road performance. The national launch of the allroad will happen in November, but some Audi dealers were able to sell early supply and reported sales of 70 for October.
