The Volkswagen-owned luxury car maker and Naim worked for 18 months to develop the new system, which is tuned for each model using acoustic analysis.

Each has an 1100-watt amplifier – claimed to be the world’s most powerful production unit fitted in a car – and, depending on model, up to 15 speakers with drive units specifically designed for the vehicles.

Bentley also claims to be the first car manufacturer to use a next-generation digital signal processor (DSP) in its audio system.

The systems are branded ‘Naim for Bentley’.
