BMW group sales surged 15.1% to 150,285 units in June, setting a monthly sales record.
Chinese markets posted above-average growth of 63.2% to 5,925 units and Russia soared 77.8% to 1,502 vehicles delivered.
Even depressed old western Europe showed healthy two-digit growth (15.9%) with 90,310 cars delivered.
For the half year to June, group sales rose 4.6% to 730,285 units.
H1 BMW brand sales were up 4.2% to 622,415 units, Mini volume up 6.4% to 107,576 and Rolls-Royce rose 2.4% to 294.

“Over the next few months, we want to continue to record double-digit growth. We are well on the way to increasing our sales for the whole of 2007 by a figure in the high single-digit range and setting new records for all three brands.”
