Climate control and cooling system supplier Denso has decided to limit facility investment and employment in North America, according to Japanese Automobile News. The move is in response to a 9 percent decrease in production at DaimlerChrysler between January and November this year and Denso expects further cuts next year.

between January and November this year and Denso expects further cuts next year.
DaimlerChrysler, with a 6.5% share, is Denso’s third largest customer after
Toyota (49%) and Honda (7%) and Denso earns about 30 percent of its consolidated
operating profit in North America.
