Subaru
car maker Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd plans to enter the one-litre car market
segment in the near future, Kyodo News reported.

“We have begun developing a new-generation car featuring compactness and
lightness,” Kyodo quoted Fuji Heavy president Kyoji Takenaka saying during
a Tokyo Motor Show press conference this week.
