Vinfast partners with akf-Bank for German market expansion

Financial partnership provides support for VinFast dealers and the continued expansion of VinFast's dealer network across Germany.

Vietnam-based VinFast has announced a strategic partnership with afk-Bank to facilitate its sales growth in Germany.

The company says jointly developed financing solutions are designed to meet the needs of dealers at different stages of growth, giving them greater flexibility while supporting the wider adoption of electric vehicles in Germany.

In Germany and across Europe, VinFast has introduced the VF 6 electric SUV (B-segment), the VF 8 electric SUV (D-segment) and electric buses. The company is also actively expanding its sales network through partnerships with dealers and distributors in key markets, aiming to strengthen operational performance, grow brand presence and meet increasingly strong customer demand.

In addition, VinFast has partnered with Mobivia, a leading European aftersales provider whose brands include Norauto in France and ATU in Germany, as well as charging partner Plugsurfing. VinFast maintains that these partnerships give customers access to an extensive network of workshops, service centres, technical facilities and charging services across the region.

akf-Bank describes itself as a specialist financier with a focus on asset-based financing solutions for companies, especially in the machinery, vehicle and technology sectors.

The bank, headquartered in Wuppertal, is part of the Vorwerk Group.
