VinFast Auto announced that it has officially finalised franchise agreements with three dealers in the US to expand its sales and service network, as the Vietnamese battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufacturer looks to “strengthen the foundation for its long-term growth while reaffirming its consistent commitment to offering US customers quality vehicles, inclusive pricing, and comprehensive aftersales policies.”

VinFast confirmed that the new dealerships will be located in Redondo Beach and Tustin, California, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, adding that the company “continues to identify, evaluate, and engage with potential partners in additional locations across the United States.”

The three new dealerships are scheduled to begin operations by the end of September, providing “comprehensive maintenance services in line with VinFast’s global standards, warranty support, and aftersales services,” focusing mainly on VinFast’s two main US models – the battery-powered VF8 D-segment and VF9 E-segment SUVs.

VinFast’s CEO for North America, Brian Finnerty, said in a statement: “Our vision is clear: VinFast is continuing to build for the next phase of growth by investing in the customer experience, strengthening our team, continuously enhancing our products, policies, and sales and service network. These new dealerships will ensure customers can access comprehensive sales, maintenance, and warranty support right in their local communities. This is more than an expansion of our network. It is a long-term commitment by VinFast to the US market as we enter our next chapter of growth.”
