Tesla has bolstered its India footprint with a fifth experience center in Hyderabad, complementing the existing sites in Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. This expansion, combined with a strategic recruitment drive across roles in sales, supply chain, and security, provides the foundational ecosystem required to scale the company’s electric vehicle and clean energy adoption across South Asia, according to the Job Analytics Database of GlobalData, a leading intelligence and productivity platform.
The American multinational automotive and clean energy company posted a “Tesla Advisor – Hyderabad” job that refers ‘Hyderabad’ as one if its experience center, alongside Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
Sherla Sriprada, Business Fundamentals Analyst at GlobalData, comments: “The move highlights the company’s strong commitment to the region’s fast-evolving automotive and clean energy landscape. Tesla is strategically positioning itself to accelerate innovation, enhance customer engagement, and drive the adoption of electric vehicles and sustainable solutions across India and Southeast Asia.”
The “Tesla Advisor – Hyderabad” role focuses on driving business growth and maximizing sales through customer service, product knowledge, merchandise presentation, and promotion. Advisors are responsible for implementing all operational policies and procedures to meet customer needs while helping Tesla achieve its goals. The role requires demonstrating mastery of all Tesla products and services. Advisors also help maintain a strong sales pipeline by collecting customer contact information and scheduling test drives for individuals who show purchase intent or potential.
The company has earlier posted a similar role, “Tesla Advisor – Bengaluru,” for its Bengaluru location. The “Supplier Industrialization Engineer” role in New Delhi focuses on leading supply chain industrialization and driving new product introduction (NPI) at suppliers, as well as tracking and improving quality for sustaining products.
The “Regional Security Specialist” role in Mumbai will oversee physical security operations at all Tesla facilities within Southeast Asia, initially including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with limited support to the wider APAC region.
Sriprada concludes: “Tesla’s expanding recruitment across India reflects its commitment to building a skilled local workforce. By prioritizing diverse talent to fill the roles in technology, engineering, and customer engagement, Tesla is well-positioned to expand its regional presence and enhance its leadership in India’s automotive and clean energy markets.”
