SPR Auto has signed an agreement with Japanese auto components maker FUJI OOZX, extending their partnership covering engine valve production in India.

Under the latest arrangement, the supply of technical know-how and related manufacturing assistance for engine valves has been prolonged by another five years, as customer needs change.

The Indian piston, ring and engine valve manufacturer-exporter will continue producing in India for both domestic customers and export markets.

Royalty payments to FUJI OOZX will be made as set out in the updated agreement, whose

remaining terms and conditions stay the same.

The technical collaboration between the two companies has been in place for more than three decades and centres on engine valve manufacturing using advanced technology.

SPR Auto said the aim is to access the latest manufacturing technology and know-how to support service to the automotive market and explore new business opportunities with advanced global technology.

The company was formerly known as Shriram Pistons & Rings Limited.

In its third-quarter results for Q3FY26 to December 2025 on a standalone basis, SPR Auto reported revenue from operations of Rs8.65bn ($93.05m), up from Rs7.69bn in Q3FY25.

Total income rose to Rs8.96bn, marking 12.6% year-on-year growth. Profit after tax stood at Rs1.14bn, down 4.5% year-on-year.

Last December, SPR Auto signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Antolin Lighting India, Grupo Antolin India and Grupo Antolin Chakan.

The deal was valued at about Rs16.7bn on a debt-free, cash-free basis.
