Samsung Display Company, a subsidiary of South Korea’s Samsung Electronics Company, announced that it will supply three types of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels to Zeekr, the premium battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufacturing unit of China’s Geely Auto.

Samsung confirmed that the three OLED panels will feature in the center information display (CID), the passenger information display (PID), and the rear seat entertainment (RSE) display, in the forthcoming Zeekr 9X SUV.

Samsung’s 16-inch OLED panels will feature in the CID control hub and the PID multimedia display installed on the dashboard, while a 17-inch OLED display will be used for the RSE display mounted on the vehicle’s ceiling, featuring the world's first ‘wing-style sliding screen’ jointly developed by Samsung and Zeekr.

Samsung Display confirmed that the two companies have been collaborating since 2024. Its executive director, Choi Yong-seok, said his company “will continue to introduce high-performance products with differentiated value to strengthen partnerships with global automakers and lead the growth of the automotive OLED market.”
