Shanghai-based automaker NIO has announced its first EV tourer for Europe, the ET5 Touring.
Deliveries are expected to begin in Q4 2023 and it will be available in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
The ET5 Touring features a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, comprising a 150 kW front induction motor and a 210 kW rear permanent magnet motor, with a total power output of 360 kW.
NIO says that sprints can be achieved from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.
All ET5 Touring models are powered by the NIO ADAM Super Computing, which features four NVIDIA DRIVE Orin X chips.
It is available with a 75kWh battery – capable of up to 435km WLTP range – or a 100kWh battery which offers up to 560km WLTP range.
The ET5 Touring for Europe comes shortly after the European launch of the EL6 (called ES6 in other markets), an electric SUV.
