Hyundai Mobis Company, the main automotive components supplier to South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Group, announced that it plans to introduce more than 30 new technologies at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, in January 2026, as it looks to strengthen and develop new partnerships with global vehicle manufacturers.
The company said its booth at the show will be run as a private exhibit exclusively for pre-invited customers, as it looks to secure “meaningful business opportunities with clients from across North America.”
Hyundai Mobis confirmed it will display innovations from across its core business areas, including electronics, electrification, and chassis safety, with “senior executives from multiple major global automakers, including heads of purchasing and technology,” having already confirmed their attendance. A private meeting room will be set up for customers to explore the company’s technologies in more detail and discuss business.
Among the key exhibits will be Mobis’ next-generation Holographic Windshield Display (HWD), which is being developed in collaboration with German optics specialist Zeiss. The HWD is said to be the world’s first system to utilise holographic film to transform the entire front windshield into an ultra-large display surface. The company claims that with this technology “drivers no longer need to glance down at the instrument cluster or other controls. Key driving information appears directly on the windshield, improving both safety and convenience.”
The passenger side can display separate content, such as videos or games, without being visible to the driver. This allows passengers to enjoy their own infotainment experience while keeping the driver free from distraction.
The HWD will be displayed as part of Mobis’ upgraded M.VICS 7.0 integrated cockpit platform, which brings together advanced infotainment technologies including a vertically expandable 18.1-inch display and a redesigned centre-console interface that balances aesthetics with intuitive controls.
Hyundai Mobis confirmed it is currently co-developing the HWD technology with major global customers to further refine and advance the system. The company aims to begin mass production in 2029 and position HWD as one of its core strategic offerings.
Hyundai Mobis also plans to exhibit its X-by-Wire integrated solution, which enables electronic steering and braking without the use of mechanical connections. By integrating both functions into a single controller, it delivers optimized driving dynamics.
Other next-generation technologies to be displayed include an augmented-reality head-up display (AR-HUD) system, low-power display solutions, and cost-efficient high-performance EV drive systems.
