Said recently it would adopt the NACS charging standard from 2025

Honda has agreed EV charger access deals with EVgo and Electrify America covering North America.

The automaker said recently it would adopt the NACS charging standard from 2025, gaining access to the Tesla Supercharger network.

US Honda and Acura EV owners will now be able to use most American public DC fast chargers from 2024 with potential access to 100,000 points by 2030.

Drivers would be able to find stations, pay for charging, redeem credits, enrol in subscription plans, and access other features through smartphone apps.

Honda said it would offer a combination of public charging credits, charging equipment and home charger installation credit to suit each owner.

Charging credits with EVgo and its roaming networks would be included with each optional charging package.

Electrify America would offer all first time Honda and Acura EV owners 60kWh of complimentary public charging included with charging packages.
