The Stellantis plant in Tychy, Poland has begun production of Fiat’s new electric model, the 600e.

Production marked the brand’s return to the B-segment.

The model has electric range of 400km (250 miles) on the WLTP combined cycle and 600km (375 miles) urban.

It has a 54kWh battery pack powering a 154bhp electric motor mounted on the front axle. This delivers claimed 0–62mph acceleration in nine seconds.

The new EV has 100kW DC rapid charging as standard and is also compatible with 11kW fast charging.

First deliveries are expected in winter 2023.

Tychy plant commenced production as a Fiat plant in 1975 and now employs 2,000 people on three shifts.
