Engenie, the UK-wide rapid charging network, is the first network available on Zap-Pay.

The rollout to more than 150 sites nationwide has been completed on schedule and is available to all EV drivers. Zap-Pay will be rolled out across UK networks in 2021.

“Zap-Pay has solved the problem faced by EV drivers of having to use multiple cards or apps to charge on different networks,” said Good Energy CEO and founder, Juliet Davenport.

“Zap Pay has removed the hassle and provides a seamless charging experience, which is crucial to mass adoption. Now EV drivers can search, plan and pay all in one app.

“The completion of this nationwide rollout with a UK-wide rapid charging network is the first step and I look forward to it progressing.”
