Yokohama Rubber said its Geolandar H/T G056 tyre has been selected as original equipment on Mazda Motor’s new CX-9 three-row midsize crossover SUV, sold in North America and Australia.

Two sizes will be supplied: P255/60R18 107H and 255/60R18 108H.

The tyre was developed as a highway terrain tyre for use on midsize and large SUVs, sales of which are expanding around the globe. Developed to meet drivers’ demands for tyres that deliver exceptional wear resistance and durability, quietness and comfort, and handling performance, it is said to deliver a comfortable ride on city streets and out on the highway. 

The new CX-9 is a high-end model in Mazda’s new-generation lineup, all models of which come equipped with the automaker’s SkyActiv technology.
