The newly established Volkswagen Group Components brand has announced new management roles.
Effective 1 March 2019, Heiner Lanze took over as head of procurement of the newly independent business unit, replacing Stephan Beyse, who, as part of a regular rotation, is now head of procurement of genuine parts in Kassel.
From 1 May, Frank Engel will become executive vice president of components, logistics, quality for all Volkswagen Group China component activities.
Christian Bleiel will succeed Engel to become head of component production for Skoda. Andreas Salewsky replaces Bleiel as head of the component site at Salzgitter.
Lanze (56) began his VW career in purchasing and controlling and has worked with VW in Mexico and in various procurement managerial positions at Audi. In 2014, he became VP of procurement at Scania in Brazil and, in 2016, headed procurement for Volkswagen do Brasil and the South America region.
Beyse (59) has held managerial positions in procurement at the VW Group since 1985.

Salewsky (48) has a planning background at VW in Germany and Poland and most recently headed production at the component group's engine plant.
