ArvinMeritor’s commercial vehicle systems business group has won a three-year supply contract to continue supplying Meritor Q Pluscam brakes to Volvo Trucks North America.
The brakes are already standard equipment on all Volvo trucks sold in North America. Introduced in 1991, the Q Plus is claimed by its maker to be the industry’s most popular air brake.
Volvo assembles VN and VHD trucks at its New River Valley Plant in Dublin, Virginia.
