TI Automotive has selected Hart County, Georgia, as the site for a new facility to manufacture automotive fuel system components.
The plant will be located in the Gateway High Tech Industrial Park on Interstate 85.
“TI Automotive is the ideal first tenant for Gateway,” said Jack Edmunds, chairman of the joint development Authority of Franklin, Hart and Stephens counties. “This multimillion-dollar project will be an excellent showcase directly across I-85 from the Georgia Welcome Centre.”
Project details will be announced early next month.
“This site provides us with an excellent location to grow and provide products to our expanding list of automotive customers in the southeast US,” said Howard Duxbury, TI Automotive president of global fuel systems.
