IMPCO Technologies Inc., and Tecstar Corporation, a subsidiary of Starcraft Inc., of Madison Heights, Michigan announced today that their joint venture company Powertrain Integration has signed an OEM Supply Agreement with General Motors Powertrain.

In a statement the companies said that this new agreement enables Powertrain Integration to further the sales of General Motors engine and transmission products outside of the company to low volume niche vehicle on highway markets. The speciality vehicle market includes niche market cargo delivery vehicles, motor homes, school buses and military vehicles.
In this new relationship Powertrain Integration will be responsible for engineering, packaging, integration, certification and global marketing of General Motors engine and transmission products.
Mr. Jeff Beitzel, President of Powertrain Integration stated that the company is currently engaged in discussions with several specialty vehicle OEMs that he expects will result in formal development agreements in the near future.
