Oxford Automotive, Inc., a Tier 1 OEM automotive supplier of manufactured engineered metal components, assemblies and modules has recently been awarded an Economic Development Job Training (EDJT) Grant worth $612,000 from the State of Michigan.

Commencing in June 2000 and running through June 2001, the EDJT Grant will enable Oxford Automotive to provide 62 classes to 748 employees in technical engineering, computer technology, quality and benchmarking subjects at company facilities in Michigan.

“Oxford was awarded this grant because of the company’s growth and its unfailing commitment to high standards and continuing education,” said Catherine Roberson, Account Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. “In addition, participation in the EDJT Grant will keep Oxford at the top of its class in complying with technical and manufacturing standards set by the State of Michigan.”
