Omron Automotive Electronics, a global supplier of electronic components, was honored on May 15, 2000 with two awards of excellence for production from Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America (MMMA).

Omron was one of only seven suppliers to achieve multiple awards — both Omron Automotive Electronics, Inc. located in St. Charles, Ill. and Omron Dualtec Automotive Electronics, Inc., located in Oakville, Ontario received MMMA awards of excellence. This marks the second consecutive year Omron’s St. Charles, Ill. plant received the honor.
