Lawmakers in New York are wasting no time in lining up behind California’s latest effort to limit greenhouse gas emissions from automotive tailpipes, the Detroit News said.
The chairman of the state assembly’s environmental conservation committee, Thomas DiNapoli, a Democrat from Long Island, plans to introduce legislation that would adopt California’s standards, the newspaper said.
