New Models Expand Reach of Business Analysis Software

CCI/Triad, the leading provider of technology solutions to the automotive aftermarket, hardlines and lumber industries, today introduced two new PRISM(tm) models that enhance the product line and offer additional input/output (I/O) ranges.

These new products make the business software accessible to more customers by accommodating a wider range of business sizes and growth expectations.

“PRISM is one of the most powerful computer systems in the automotive aftermarket today, and we want to make it available to all automotive parts distributors from the smallest to the largest,” said Tom Webb, manager of Distribution Product Marketing. “Our customers rely on the increased profitability PRISM brings to their businesses, and the return on investment for a new PRISM has never been greater.”

The Triad PRISM software handles most aspects of an automotive aftermarket store’s business and includes many tools to help them become more profitable. The software, used by thousands of stores, takes care of inventory, pricing, purchasing, invoicing, cataloging, accounting and business analysis.

Previous PRISM models ranged from 9 I/O to 81 I/O. I/O refers to the number of users or device connections allowed on a multi-user system. New to the product line are the PRISM LX 5 I/O Plus and the PRISM 97 I/O models. The PRISM LX 5 I/O Plus is primarily targeted to smaller businesses. It gives small parts distributors, who felt PRISM was too large an investment for their business, a smaller and lower priced option that better fits their business size and needs. The PRISM 97 I/O model accommodates large multi-store parts distributors.

“PRISM isn’t a one-size-fits-all product; it’s customized to accommodate all stores economically and effectively based on the stores’ size and needs,” Webb said. “These new products assure our larger customers that PRISM will be there as they continue to expand their business. And they allow our Series 12 customers to make the transition to newer PRISM technology and run their businesses more profitably and more efficiently.”
