The Tradewinds LTC (or Luxury Touring Class), priced in the $175,000 range, is a companion product to National RV’s tremendously popular Tradewinds brand diesel pusher that was introduced in 1997. The Tradewinds LTC is targeted at a segment that has grown dramatically in the past two years as diesel pusher owners focused on upgrading from “entry level” pushers into more powerful and larger products. Special features of the Tradewinds LTC include an engine upgrade to the Caterpillar 330 HP diesel engine, raised rail chassis construction, independent front suspension and side radiator cooling package, “ultra” leather seating and standard double slide out floorplans.

This unveiling is scheduled to coincide with National RV’s first ever Dealer Conference on June 14, 2000. This one-day event allows dealers to interact with company management in order to build stronger relationships, improve communication and discuss future business ideas and concepts. Dealers will have an opportunity to contribute to the Company’s future policies and product offerings in open forums and round table focus groups.

Joe McDermott, National RV’s Director of Sales & Marketing commented: “National RV is committed to expanding our business in every market in the United States and Canada by partnering with the best dealers in each of these markets. As such, our attitude is not to tell our dealers how we’re going to be successful, but to ask them what they think it’s going to take to make us mutually successful in their communities.”
