Vehicle interior specialist Lear Corporation has named Douglas DelGrosso president and chief operating officer, effective immediately, reporting to chairman and CEO Bob Rossiter.
DelGrosso started with Lear in 1984 as a design engineer. In 1991, he was promoted to director of product engineering and in 1995, operating responsibility for the company’s GM Division. He also served as president of Lear’s DaimlerChrysler division as well as its interior systems and electronics divisions.
In 2001, DelGrosso was named executive vice president – international operations. A year later, his duties were expanded to president and chief operating officer for all of Lear’s operations in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Last year, he was named president and chief operating officer – The Americas.
