Jaguar North America announces sales results in the United States for the first six months of the year, totaling 22,468 cars, up nearly 72 percent compared with the same period last year. June sales results in the U.S. totaled 3,806 cars, up nearly five percent compared with June 1999.

Jaguar XK Series sports car sales totaled 572, up nearly 27 percent
compared with June 1999. Jaguar S-TYPE sales totaled 2,271, up nearly 11 percent compared with the same month last year. Jaguar XJ Series sales totaled 963 cars.

“We at Jaguar could not be more pleased with our sales results for the
first half of this year,” said Mike O’Driscoll, president of Jaguar North America. “We are especially pleased with the sales of the XK Series, which has increased nearly 32 percent compared with the same period last year.

The addition of the XKR to our lineup continues to capture the hearts of sports car enthusiasts and enhances the image of the Jaguar brand with customers.”
