Originally launched in 1997, enhancements to hertzequip.com include online rental rates listed by branch, location and equipment specifications, as well as equipment availability for HERC locations throughout the country. Customers simply input their desired rental location and equipment and the website automatically calculates the available equipment from the specified location as well as the corresponding suggested retail rates for daily, weekly and monthly rentals.

In addition, on the same screen, the branch address and contact information and an online credit application are also presented. Hertzequip.com also allows customers to indicate their preferred HERC branch enabling repeat visitors to the website to immediately obtain information for that location.

Hertzequip.com provides customers with detailed information on HERC operations and services, including listings of US rental locations by state that provide driving directions to each site, product information by equipment category and information on HERC’s Industrial Resource Group and Equipment Sales. In addition, the site also features timely information on local and regional promotions available to HERC customers.
