GM’s Hummer brand is enhancing the warranty on all of its 2006 model year vehicles to four years or 50,000 miles in place of the previous three-year/36,000-mile warranty cover.
The move to a four-year/50,000-mile plan is consistent with that of many of the industry’s top premium brands, including Cadillac, GM said.
The 2006 H1 Alpha is the first vehicle covered by the enhanced warranty. The H2 moves to the 2006 model year in late summer of 2005 and the new ‘mid-size’ 2006 H3 is on sale in late spring 2005.
