Edmunds.com (www.edmunds.com), the Web’s leading consumer resource for unbiased automotive information, and Chevrolet Motor Division today announced that Jim Campbell, Corvette brand manager, will host a real-time, interactive chat on Edmunds.com’s Town Hall on Wednesday, June 7th, at 9:00 p.m. (EST).
Based on the growing success of Edmunds.com’s Town Hall conferences, this event is the first in an ongoing series of Town Hall chats that will feature guest hosts. The topics of the conference hosted by Mr. Campbell will include the history and heritage of the Corvette brand, and also Corvette’s participation in the upcoming race at Le Mans, the renown 24-hour endurance race scheduled later this month.
“We look forward to featuring Mr. Campbell as a celebrity host on Town Hall,” said Lev Stark, vice president of content development at Edmunds.com. “This is an opportunity for the more than 500,000 Town Hall members to speak directly with an automotive insider who has a unique perspective on one of the best known car brands in the world.”
Jim Campbell has been brand manager for Corvette and Camaro at Chevrolet Motor Division since 1998. He is responsible for creating market presence, building brand equity, developing advertising, and establishing price positioning for his products. Earlier this year, Campbell was elected to the National Corvette Museum’s Board of Directors.
“The Internet gives us the unique opportunity to interact with our customers and to get real-time data that will address their needs,” said Campbell. “The Edmunds.com Town Hall is an excellent forum for us to hear from Internet users about what they think of our products.”
With more than 500,000 registered users, Edmunds.com’s Town Hall is designed as an open forum and conversation area for never-ending discussions on a wide range of automotive subjects. Membership is free, and participants are able to speak their minds on everything related to buying, selling and owning an automobile.
