Ratings agency Fitch has cut some of Delphi Corp.’s debt ratings deeper into junk status and other debt into default after the components supplier filed for bankruptcy protection, Reuters reported.

Fitch reportedly cut the company’s issuer default rating to “D” from “CCC,” and senior unsecured notes to “C” from “CC.”
