Delphi has named Brian Thelen vice president of audit, effective 1 February, 2006.

Thelen, 42, will report to Robert Dellinger, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and the audit committee of the board of directors. He will also be a member of the strategy board, the company’s top policy-making group.

Thelen was previously vice president, internal audit services, for Waste Management.

Delphi last June said that an executive and a former executive had resigned because of accounting irregularities at the company, bringing to four the number of high-ranking employees who had left because of the errors.

Delphi, which was under federal investigation for its accounting, and subsequently restated results for some previous accounting years, named John Arle vice president and treasurer. He was previously vice president of corporate audit services.
