DaimlerChrysler Financial Services (debis) Canada has a new name and a new organization for the group that will support both the Chrysler Financial and Mercedes-Benz Credit portfolios in Canada, the company announced today.
Capping more than a year of integration efforts, Chrysler Credit Canada and Mercedes-Benz Credit of Canada have joined forces to become DaimlerChrysler Financial Services (debis) Canada, a newly streamlined organization.
Juergen Rochert has been named President of the new organization, which now consists of the group’s Windsor-area headquarters, three Chrysler Financial zone offices in Mississauga, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Calgary, Alberta; and two Mercedes-Benz Credit operations centers in Mississauga and Montreal.

Rochert joined the former Daimler Benz AG in 1982 in Stuttgart, Germany. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility in Germany, the United States and Mexico.
Mr. Rochert holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the “Berufsakademie,” Stuttgart, Germany, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut. He resides in Windsor, Ontario.
“We redesigned the combined organization so that operations for the brands were separate and distinct, while at the same time joining headquarters support organizations with an eye for wringing the greatest cost-efficiencies out of the two formerly separate organizations,” Rochert said. The result, he added, is an organization that draws upon the cross-functional strength from both of its former parts.
“More than 20 of our 332 employees have either switched brand responsibilities or, at the headquarters level, have moved to dual brand responsibilities,” Rochert said. “We’ve really been able to draw upon the excellent knowledge base of both groups in order to hone processes and implement best practices.”
