This is the first announced commercial application for the new acoustically tunable absorptive floor mat product technology which is engineered to meet specific vehicle sound management requirements while providing flexibility in solving vehicle acoustic challenges.
The proprietary blend of carpet, absorbent acoustic layer, and rubber backing materials is designed to work in conjunction with an absorptive floor system to provide maximum acoustic absorption in the interior cabin of the vehicle.
The product line has proven to be effective with both traditional massback floor systems and recently developed lightweight absorptive floor systems.
