Rent A Car Industry’s First Internet Based Reporting System
Avis Rent A Car, a member of Avis Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:), today announced the introduction of the first Internet based information system in the rent a car industry called Avis InterActive. This sophisticated Internet based application and data warehouse is designed to provide corporate customers with complete and current information on their car rental usage and expenses by capitalizing upon Avis’ already existing rental car database. Avis InterActive is derived from Avis Group’s award winning PHH InterActive system that has been the cornerstone of PHH’s success in the fleet management industry.

Avis InterActive enables corporate customers access via the Internet to aggregated information on car rental expenses and utilization as well as specific renter preferences. The information is presented in a format that allows easy analysis by travel managers and accountants on their own desktop computers.
